Liqourish candy - tasty but not easy to clean up
This is the first time Billy tries liqourish candy, he liked it just like the Swede he is, but what a mess he made!

One of Billy's favourite people is his aunt Sophie, Johan's sister, here they are eating an orange together.
Billy is growing
Billy is almost 9 months old now and crawls all over the place, he is getting fast too, when he is after something he knows he is not supposed to touch ...
This is the first car Billy ever got, from his Dad of course ... He loves playing with it and makes car noises while driving the car back and forth.
I just have to show you this cute outfit Billy had on New Years Eve, I couldn't resist it when I saw it in the store.
Billy can also stand up by himself when holding on to things and he can walk along the furniture, he loves walking when holding mommy and daddy's hands but he is not steady enough to let got just yet.
House - burnt down
Aaaaaah.
I was sooo excited about moving into our newbuilt house. Three days before we were supposed to move in, a fire started in the basement and basically set the whole house on fire. Basically, they will have to rebuild the whole house. Right now, it is feeling pretty tough, all our efforts and expectations are just gone, it is undescribable. So, I might not be very active here for a while, we'll see when the spark comes back.
Luckily, we are all safe and Billy is our sunshine, but somedays it is hard to appreciate that, I kind of have to mourn the house I never got to move into ...

I'm home with a sick Billy, he has a bad cold and cough. And he is whining a lot, which I'm not used to since he is usually like a sunshine-boy.
On the last picture we tried to get a nice Christmas picture of Billy and Zigge, but neither of them were very interested in posing with a smile ...

House soon done!
We now have the final date for the house-certification, the 22nd of December, if everything gets approved we will be allowed to move in then!!! Which means we have one day to move since we celebrate Christmas on the 24th in Sweden, gaaaaah!
This is the view from the backyard, a lot of area to care for! But, we will wait with the garden until fall next year! On the left side of the house we will have a big balcony.
The front of the house, they have acctually put in the garage doors, but when we checked them it was the wrong kind, so they will be replaced .... In the front you see all the wood they will use to build the balcony.

Visit from the US
In the beginning of October I had a visit from Amy, (college friend from Framingham State).

We took Amy to the Boston inspired restaurant O'Learys.
We also went to Gothenburg, Gränna and watch glas-blowing, and a weekendtrip to Stockholm before Amy went home!

House has been painted
The housebuilding is veeeeeeeeery slowly progressing, the builders have been very busy with other houses but next week there will be some serious activities at our house, finally. But, between all the rain we have managed to paint almost all of the house!

Baptised
Now Billy has been baptised and is officially named Billy Folke Bergquist!
It all went very well and he didn't make any sound while in church, basically happy and satisfied the whole day. It was a very small gathering only our closest family attended.
It was a very old church the baptismal font was atleast 800 years old, a lot of children have been blessed there! However, there was another couple who baptised their child as well at the same time, they are in the background here.

Au-pair reunion
Au-pair friends from my first year in the US came to visit me last Saturday and we had an awesome time, it was their first time meeting Billy! It was great seeing Ingela, Carolina and Kati again.

Top floor has arrived!!!
Last week the top floor arrived and they assemblied the house in one week, that is the outer walls and the structural walls inside. There is no floor or anything yet.
